Executive professors

Business education can be provided to students in many ways, both inside and outside the classroom. At Mays Business School, we believe the best education blends the academic background and approach of our outstanding faculty with the knowledge and experiences of business leaders.

Last year alone, more than 180 business professionals visited Mays and shared their insights, experiences, successes and failures with our students. This experience was shared through formal classroom talks, informal breakfasts and lunches with small groups of students, and participation in various case competitions within Mays.

In this issue of Mays Business Online, I hope you'll take the time to read about the vistis of two recent guests: Fran Keeth, CEO of Shell Chemical LP and Janet Gurwitch, founder and CEO of Laura Mercier Cosmetics.

In addition, this issue features the stories of three outstanding former students: L.C. "Chaz" Neely, Terry Hatchett and Brandon Coleman. These individuals were recognized as our 2005 Outstanding Alumni, and join a distinguished group of individuals whose achievements in their business, personal and service lives have bettered their communities.

As always, I hope this issue of Mays Business Online finds you well.

Please stop by for a visit if your travels bring you to Aggieland.
