Webers give for the “other” education

Of all the things that Tony Weber ’84 remembers about his undergraduate experience, he says that it was the out-of-the-classroom activities that had the most impact on him. That’s why he and his wife, Cindy (Green) ’84, have recently given $200,000 to Mays Business School to support special programs and executive speakers in undergraduate programs.

Tony Weber ’84 returned to campus recently with a mission: to let Mays students know about the highly profitable opportunities available in private equity. Weber, who has worked in the energy industry since graduation, and specifically in the private equity industry for the past six years, says it’s an area more students at his alma mater need to know about.
