New technology yields teachable experience for Mays MBAs

In a world full of technological breakthroughs and innovative ideas, Texas A&M continues to make its mark. Though every invention shows promise, marketing new technology to the average person can be a difficult task, and that’s where the Mays MBA Program steps in. On February 15, 77 first-year MBA students participated in the Tech Transfer Challenge, developing real-world applications for A&M’s newest innovations.



Calling all entrepreneurs

“What we hope to achieve is simply put: expanding minds, expanding networks,” says Richard Scruggs, director of the Center for New Ventures and Entrepreneurship at Mays Business School. Expanding minds and expanding networks is the tag line of Envision‘08, the first conference for entrepreneurs hosted by the CNVE. Envision‘08 (short for “entrepreneurial vision”) will be held April 23-25 at the Marriott RiverCenter in San Antonio, Texas.
