Aggie SIFE brings home the gold

With the motto “a head for business, a heart for the world,” one of Texas A&M University’s most unique business-minded organizations encourages Aggies of all majors to stretch their creativity and better the community. Since its inception in late fall 2002, the A&M chapter of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) has promoted community/university interaction through a variety of service projects.

As the spring semester rolls on, stressful thoughts of entering the “real world” and finding a job begin to take a toll on the student population. In the tradition of the “Aggie Network,” there is a new resource available to these harried scholar-job seekers: the ultimate job search website, created by an A&M graduate, of course.



Area kids participate in Texas A&M preview day

It was a glimpse into the future for 16 third and fourth graders from area elementary schools who participated in the annual “Aggie for a Day” program. The event took place on February 2 and was hosted by the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) organization at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
