03.06 Mary Speckmaier ’03, BBA accounting, reports that she has been working for the past two years in Cameroon, Africa, volunteering with a missions organization as an accountant. “I have had a wonderful time here and have learned so much from my colleagues, who are from all over the world,” she writes. 09.05 Allison (Cochran) Pennington ‘04, BBA in marketing, says, “After graduation, I moved to Dallas to pursue my career and began working as an Analyst for Accenture in the retail industry. I am currently working for CompUSA, Inc. as a Senior Media Buyer/Planner. I am happily married to my best friend, Michael Pennington who is an Investment Banker at First Southwest Company. 07.05 Jonathan M. “Jon” Seastrunk ’00, BBA in information and operations management, is now a senior applications analyst in the information systems and technology group at Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth. He can be reached at jon@seastrunk.com.

11.04 Aron Tipton ’03, BBA in marketing, says, “After graduation, I joined up with a professional Arena Football team. I am now the Game Operations and Associate Marketing Director. We did great this season, winning home field advantage in the playoffs and ended up winning the whole thing. So for a second time, I am getting another huge ring. WHOOP!”

09.04 Marc Wolf ’00, BBA in finance, was deployed from Misawa, Japan and now displays his Aggie flag over the Persian Gulf in his EP-3 Airies II reconnaissance plane, reports the Texas Aggie magazine.

09.04 Leslie Standlee ’03, BBA in information and operations management, says, “I am currently serving as a business analyst for Bank of America. I’m working on a major change initiative to comply with legislation dealing with check images.”

09.04 Chelsea Heller ’04, BBA in marketing, says, “I graduated from Texas A&M in May of 2004. I got a job through the Career Center with Pulte Homes in Houston, Texas. I love my job! Many students are having trouble finding jobs lately, but with the help of the Career Center, my organization, and my education through Texas A&M, I was able to get five total job offers in my final semester!”

09.04 Sudeep Jain ’04, MS in management information systems, says “I am currently based in Austin. I am working for Dell Inc. as a programmer analyst in Dell’s application support and services team.”

09.04 Krissy (Downer) Murdock ’04, BBA in management, says she “will be beginning the Master in Healthcare Administration/Master in Business Administration Program (MHA/MBA) at the University of Houston at Clear Lake in fall 2004 after completing an internship at Winship Cancer Institute in Atlanta, Georgia. My husband and I will be buying a home in Houston in the next few weeks, so life is great!”

09.04 Jessica Walas ’04, BBA in marketing, says she has “just started my first job after graduating from college in May. I am a product marketing analyst for Travelocity in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. It took me about five months (January to May) of applying for different positions with Travelocity and their parent company, Sabre, before I was contacted about this position. Now, I know that it was definitely worth the wait!”

07.04 Hussain Kheatani ’00, BBA in information and operations management, resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is currently an operations manager for Convoy Supply Ltd., one of the largest providers of construction materials in Canada.

07.04 Scott Towle ’00, BBA in information and operations management, MBA in management information systems, was invited to join Texas 4000, a group of UT students cycling from Austin to Alaska to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Scott says, “We hope to donate $150,000 to ACS. Each rider is responsible for raising $3,000. The trip is slightly over 4,500 miles and will take a little over 2 months. During our ride, on our days off, we will be volunteering at cancer hospitals, doing community service work, and we will be doing cancer awareness presentations.”

07.04 Stephanie (Matthews) Timms ’01, BBA in management, is working on an MBA at Texas State University in San Marcos and working full-time. She is a credit analyst at First Lockhart National Bank.

07.04 Mark Brannan ’02, BBA in information systems, is working as a category manager in supply chain organization at Shell Exploration and Production Company.

07.04 Jarrod Hix ’02, BBA in finance, married Ann Greensage on May 1, 2004. Currently, he is a financial consultant with A.G. Edwards in Bryan, and Ann is an assistant escrow officer for Aggieland Title Company.

07.04 Mary Malony ’03, BBA in marketing, says, “In the recent months since my graduation from Texas A&M, I have established myself in our nation’s capitol, Washington, D.C. However, I have not started my career in the political arena, but in non-profit world of development. Currently, I am working as Development Assistant for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, a truly worthy organization.”

07.04 Ana Valdes ’03, BBA in finance, says, “After graduating in August of 2003, I went back home to San Marcos, Texas to pursue an MBA at Texas State. I was hired by AIG at October’s career fair and after I finish my licensing exams, I will be a full-time financial planner. In the meantime I will slow down the MBA path to devote more time to my career.”

07.04 Soon-il Kweon ’04, is a senior researcher in the insurance industry. Soon-il says, “I have some research results on the insurance industry of Korea. I am a PhD candidate and applied for the Mays MBA degree.”
